Startup Showcase and Meet up at KDEM (Karnataka Digital Economy Mission)

JAIN Launchpad, in collaboration with Ivey Business School at Western University, Canada, successfully completed the two-week LEADER program with 15 participant startups. The final demo day of the program took place on April 28, 2023, at KDEM (Karnataka Digital Economy Mission) in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. On Graduation Day, startups pitched their ideas to investors and industry leaders, followed by a Meetup/networking session co-hosted by KDEM.

The program was meticulously planned by both JAIN Launchpad and Ivey Business School, with a focus on relevant case studies tailored to the Indian context. The introductory session was led by Mr. Nayaz, CEO of Jain Launchpad, who provided context for the participants, followed by insights from Mr. Amaresh Ojha, Founder of Roundglass Gympik.

Throughout the program, the LEADER team conducted sessions on various topics, including marketing, operations, and finance, incorporating practical case studies and engaging activities for the startups. Additionally, individual sessions were held daily to address any doubts and concerns of the participants, leaving them feeling confident and well-prepared for the market.

The pinnacle of the event was the Startup showcase and Meetup, where Jain Launchpad invited investors and industry experts to witness the presentations from all the participating startups. Mr. Siddhartha Aanad, VP of KDEM, highlighted the organization's initiatives in promoting the growth of the digital economy in Karnataka, offering funding, infrastructure, and resources to support local startups and businesses. CEO Mr. Nayaz encouraged and inspired the participants, while Ms. Nadine praised their active involvement in the program and wished them success.

The startups received significant interest from the investors and industry leaders present, who expressed a keen desire to connect with them, thus concluding the LEADER program on a high note.
